Department Features:

1. The first Department of Biomedical Engineering is founded at Chung Yuan Christian College in 1972.

2. In our BME department, we are the first department which has passed IEET accredited in Taiwan.

Department Awards :

1. In January 1973, we are the first department which has passed IEET accredited in Taiwan.

2. Nowadays, our alumni are more than 5,300 people all over the world, who are the important resource in Chinese area. Our alumni engage in BME Industry in the world, facilitating industry-government–academia–research collaboration, boosting biomedical engineering industry in Taiwan.

Future Plan and Prospect:

1. In our department, we plan three types of course that help students navigate the career path for life.

2. There are multiple jobs for graduate, including at Medical Devices Manufacture, hospitals, Curriculum Section, government agencies, electronics industry, Information Technology or service industry, are responsible for Research and Development, Verification Test, Sales or Maintenance.

3. There are 44 companies will give priority to hiring the student who got the department highlights scholarship.
