Aim

The purpose of the Young Investigator Competition is to recognize excellence in conference contributions whose primary authors are young investigators; based on originality, clarity, and potential impact on practical applications or theoretical foundations.

Eligibility

Young Investigators are concerned persons under the age of 35 working in the field of biomedical engineering and science. Young investigators must be the first authors of the papers and have to present the papers at the conference themselves.

Submission

The papers for the Competition have to be sent through the regular conference submission system.

Young Investigators Awards

The awards for the best papers; first, second and third place are awarded at the Closing Ceremony of the Conference. The awards are presented jointly by a member of the Conference Organizing Committee.
